Dynamic Pre-Cooling (High-Suction Capacity Chambers): Specialized study of air velocity and cooling rate ensures uniform temperature reduction throughout the product mass — suitable for both packaged and unpackaged beans. |
Reinforced Cold Room: Enables the existing refrigeration system to perform light pre-cooling followed by long-term storage without additional equipment. |
Controlled Atmosphere: Optimal composition is 2%–5% oxygen (O₂) and 4%–8% carbon dioxide (CO₂), which helps preserve the natural color and freshness of the beans. |
IMPORTANT TIPS
- Pre-cool rapidly in Dynamic Pre-Cooling chambers and maintain the cold chain throughout all storage and transport stages.
- Wash beans after harvest with cold water, optionally containing approved low-residue disinfectants or fungicides.
- Dry with cool air immediately after washing.
- Install ozone generators to control fungal growth.
- Disinfect cold rooms before each use.
- Manage CO₂ levels generated by respiration to help maintain color and freshness.
- Use modified atmosphere bags to extend shelf life.
- Avoid storing with ethylene-producing products.
