The ELIOS Agricultural Cooperative, based in Gramvousa, Laconia, was founded in 2007 and is now a recognized Producer Organization. Comprising 25 growers who follow modern, sustainable practices, the cooperative has successfully brought products such as pomegranate, nectarine, peach, orange, and mandarin to prominence in the Greek market.
As part of our collaboration, we carried out the study and engineering design for a Dynamic Cooling system tailored to the cooperative’s production and storage needs.
The aim was to extend shelf life and enhance commercial value through precise control of temperature, humidity, and airflow in the cooling chambers.
The cooperation concluded with staff training on the correct operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the system, ensuring stable quality, reduced losses, and energy-efficient performance at every stage of the cooling process.
